In order to list your price list in ITscope as a distributor, certain requirements must be met, otherwise your price list cannot be processed and the articles cannot be integrated within ITscope.

Transmission paths:

  • FTP
  • FTPS (File Transfer Protocol over SSL)
  • SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protokoll)
  • HTTPS: Dynamically generated price list (z.B.: https://www.examplepage.de/export/OnlineExport.php)
  • HTTPS: Download Datei (z. B. https://www.beispiel.de/angebotsdaten.csv).

    If access data is required for retrieval (user name/password), please send us this information by e-mail to support@itscope.com.

Download intervals:

  • The price list must be updated regularly (usually automated every working day at best) so that the import of the product data provided, in particular the prices and information on current availability, is always up-to-date.

Format

Data formats:

  • CSV / TXT

Zeichensätze:

  • UTF-8
  • UTF-16
  • ISO-8859-1
  • ISO-8859-15
  • windows-1252 (ANSI)

Unique CSV column separators:

  • Semikolon (;)
  • Comma (,)
  • Tab (\t)
  • Pipe (|)

Unique CSV quoting:

  • Double inverted commas (’)
  • Single inverted commas (‘)

Contents

  • Each price list must contain a header line with column headings.
  • The headings must not contain line breaks
  • Each line or data record of your price list file must contain exactly one product.
  • Your item number must always remain constant for the item offered and be unique; the same item number may never be used for two different products (or different item statuses).
  • All prices in your price list must be net prices in EURO, but without currency indication.
  • The following price formats are supported for the thousands and decimal separators:
    • English (default): Example : 1,000.99 (IETF BCP 47)
    • German: Example : 1.000,99
  • All stock levels must be transmitted as an integer. Negative stock levels are not taken into account.

Mandatory fields

Your price list file must contain at least the following fields in order to be processed.
The contents of these fields must fulfil the requirements defined under ‘Field descriptions and examples’.

  • Item number (your unique item number)
  • Manufacturer article number and/or EAN (one of the two must be available for each product. Better matching if both are available).
  • Manufacturer (brand or manufacturer name)
  • Description (product identifier)
  • Category name (single or multi-column)
  • Price (Dealer purchase price)
  • WEEE registration number
  • Item condition (required if not exclusively new goods are offered)
