Each product property is defined by one of the following data types:
| ID | Data type |
| 0 | Number, i.e. the property contains only numerical values, usually normalised to an integer value |
| 1 | Free text, ie non-standardisable text data such as model names |
| 2 | Word list, i.e. one or more text references referenced by ID |
