{"id":4471,"date":"2021-12-21T13:32:37","date_gmt":"2021-12-21T11:32:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/guide.itscope.com\/?post_type=kb&#038;p=4471"},"modified":"2022-07-22T17:14:06","modified_gmt":"2022-07-22T15:14:06","slug":"wie-teile-ich-einen-itscope-export-sinnvoll-auf-mehrere-exporte-auf","status":"publish","type":"kb","link":"https:\/\/guide.itscope.com\/en\/kb\/wie-teile-ich-einen-itscope-export-sinnvoll-auf-mehrere-exporte-auf\/","title":{"rendered":"How can I split a single ITscope export into multiple different exports?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When a large export is required, it can make sense to divide it into several smaller exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What should be considered during the implementation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend splitting a &#8216;large&#8217; ITscope export into several smaller exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please consider the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itscope.com\/en\/prices\/system-houses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contract-dependent<\/a> limit per export for all combinations of data formats and export formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following article elaborates on these limits in more detail: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/guide.itscope.com\/en\/kb\/api-limitations\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/guide.itscope.com\/en\/kb\/api-limitations\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/guide.itscope.com\/en\/kb\/setting-up-a-data-export\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">setting up a data export<\/a>, the export split should <strong>not be made at supplier level<\/strong>, but at <strong>product selection level<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, the following distribution of exports according to category would be advisable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>One export with X suppliers for &#8220;Printers&#8221; and a separate one (with the same suppliers) for &#8220;Printer accessories&#8221;<br><\/li><li>One export with X suppliers for &#8220;Mobile phones&#8221; and a separate one (with the same suppliers) for &#8220;Mobile phone accessories&#8221;<br><\/li><li>One export with X suppliers for &#8220;Notebook&#8221; and &#8220;Tablet&#8221; and a separate one (with the same suppliers) for &#8220;Notebook accessories&#8221;.<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We do not recommend<\/strong> <em>splitting exports by supplier<\/em>, as a product that appears in a product selection from one export with supplier X can also appear in the other export for supplier Y ( therefore it will be exported twice\/multiple times).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>One export with supplier X for &#8220;Printer&#8221; and another export with supplier Y for &#8220;Printer&#8221;<br>&#8211;&gt; In this case, it is possible that a product is included in both exports because supplier X and supplier Y both offer it.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When a large export is required, it can make sense to divide it into several smaller exports.
