A status is assigned to every source of supply on ITscope to indicate availability, as described below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
This overview illustrates the status codes that are currently used:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guidelines for availability status<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Stock<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ‘In Stock<\/strong>‘ status is only assigned if the supplier transmits an exact stock level (positive number). The stock level must refer to the supplier’s own stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Own stock is considered as the supplier having exclusive access to the stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The stock can be limited to a threshold value, e.g. >10<\/strong> for ‘10 or more units available<\/em>‘, >100<\/strong> for ‘100 or more units available<\/em>‘. A stock <10 has to be displayed correctly (e.g. >1 is not possible).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • stock can be limited to a threshold value (>10)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • a stock of <10 has to be displayed correctly (exceptions apply for ‘ABC Data’, ‘BITS’, ‘Fr\u00f6hlich + Walter’, ‘Herweck’, ‘KOCH Media’, ‘Mindfactory’, ‘think about IT’, ‘VV Computer’)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    In Transit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
    The ‘In Transit<\/strong>‘ statusis only assigned if the supplier is able to provide a date for when the goods will be available in stock (i.e. presupplier delivery date). This date may not be in the past and can be a maximum of three months in the future. Indicating the quantity of products ordered from the presupplier, ideally minus already sold items, is optional but desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In field warehouse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
      The ‘In field warehouse<\/strong>‘ status is only assigned if the supplier indicates the stock level available from the presupplier. Indicating the expected delivery date is optional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
      Field warehouse always means that third parties also have access to the inventories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Order-related<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
        The ‘Order-related<\/strong>‘ status is assigned if the item has been marked accordingly. This is especially useful for products that are manufactured after an order has been placed (e.g. computers configured individually according to the customer’s desires)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Not available<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
          The’Not available<\/strong>‘ status is assigned if the item has been marked accordingly by the supplier, or if the stock is 0 (zero)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
          Summary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • marked explicitly as not available<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • or stock is 0 (zero)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
            Unknown<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
            The ‘Unknown<\/strong>‘ status is assigned if the availability status cannot be matched to the availabilities mentioned above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
            This may be caused by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • Error fetching\u00a0the availability status by the real-time interface<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Transmitting ‘In transit’ without indicating a correct delivery date, or date is in the past<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Transmitting ‘In stock’\/’In field warehouse’ without indicating a quantity<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Transmitting negative stock levels. In this case, the stock is set to 0 (zero).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
